I Love You Chocolate Blackberry Cake

Step One:


Chocolate Cake Mix (from scratch or from a box) 












Use mix and pour 1/2 in 9 inch round cake pan and the other 1/2 of the mix into the other 9 inch round cake pan. 








 StepTwo:



Let the 2 cakes cool completely (at least for 2 hours)
For this frosting I added 1 stick of butter, 5 cups (more or less) of powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1/4 cup of whole milk, and 2 spoonfuls of Nutella.  Mix well to make sure the buttercream frosting is smooth.  If you need to thicken the frosting, add more powdered sugar.  If you need to thin the frosting, add more milk. 




  

StepThree:

 

Frost the bottom layer of the cake.  Slice blackberries into thin slices and spread over the frosting.  Place the top layer on top of the filling.  Frost the entire cake with the remaining frosting.  Decorate as desired.
