- Filling:
- 6-8 apples sliced (variety not peeled)
- 1 can frozen apple juice from concentrate
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Crust:
- Make your favorite crust or use 1 package of 2 pie crusts
- Topping:
- Spray butter
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
Step-by-Step:

- Preheat oven to 425.
- In a large saucepan on low heat mix frozen apple juice, flour, and cinnamon stirring frequently until sauce thickens. Add all apples coating each one in the sauce. Stir occasionally for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Using cooking spray, lightly spray the pie tin. Put 1 pie crust evenly in the tin. Pour the filling in the crust. Pinch the other crust over the top. Spray with butter. Lightly sprinkle nutmeg and cinnamon over top.
- Bake for 15 minutes on 425. Reduce heat to 325 and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Cool and serve warm
