Italian Tomato Soup

2 large cans crushed or diced tomatoes
5 cloves diced garlic
1 diced onion
1 lb ground turkey
Salt
2 teaspoons basil
1/2 cup thinly chopped carrots

Brown ground turkey in a medium sized skillet. Drain grease. In a crockpot, mix all ingredients and cook on either high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. Stir occasionally.
